/Network Diameter

The diameter of a network is the longest of all the geodesics in the network, where a geodesic is the shortest path between two nodes. The diameter of a network looks at all the shortest paths and then chooses the longest one, this then provides an idea of how far something might have to travel to get all the way across the network.
