/Efficiency

A system’s efficiency is defined a ratio between the resources inputted to the system and the resources exported back to the environment relative to entropy produced in the course of this process. Efficiency is an important concept within systems theory as it enables us to define a system’s degree of functionality and is a primary metric in defining the makeup of the overall system.
